Privacy Policy
What information the Service handles, where it is kept and the choices You have.
Privacy at a glance
- Your calculator details stay on Your Device. Your age, weight, height, body fat and goals are processed in Your browser and are never sent to Us.
- No accounts. You don’t need to sign up, log in or give Us Your name to use the calculator.
- Visit statistics, no ads. We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they use. We don’t show ads or sell Personal Data.
- Messages are used only to reply. If You contact Us, We use what You send to answer You.
Interpretation and Definitions
Interpretation
The words whose initial letters are capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.
Definitions
For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:
- Company
- (referred to as either “the Company”, “We”, “Us” or “Our” in this Privacy Policy) refers to TDEE Calculator PH.

- means any device that can access the Service, such as a computer, a cell phone or a digital tablet.

Information We Handle
Details You enter into the calculator
To calculate Your results, the calculator uses the details You enter: gender, age, weight, height, activity level, goal, pace, diet style and, if You choose to add it, body fat percentage.
- Processed on Your Device: all calculations run in Your browser. These details are not sent to Us or to any server, and We cannot see them.
- Saved on Your Device: Your most recent details are kept in Your browser’s Local Storage so the calculator can offer to fill them in next time.
- Under Your control: choose “Start fresh” on the calculator, or clear Your browser’s site data, to delete them at any time.
Weight, body fat and similar details can be sensitive health information. Because they never leave Your Device, We do not collect, store or share them.
Information You send Us
If You contact Us, We receive the information You choose to provide, such as Your name, email address and message. We use it only to read and respond to Your message.
Usage Data
Like most websites, the servers that deliver the Service may automatically record basic technical information when Your browser requests a page, such as Your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the date and time. This is handled by Our hosting provider to deliver the Website and keep it secure.
We also use Google Analytics to understand how the Service is used. It collects information such as the pages You visit, how long You stay, how You arrived at the Website (for example, from a search engine), Your approximate location (country or city), and Your device, browser and operating system. We see this information only in aggregated reports, and We do not use it to identify You. The details You enter into the calculator are not sent to Google Analytics.
Third-Party Services
- Google Analytics: a web analytics service provided by Google that uses cookies to collect the Usage Data described above and send it to Google’s servers. Google processes it under its own Privacy Policy; see also how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
- Hosting provider: the Website is served by a hosting provider that processes Usage Data as described above, on Our behalf.
How We Use Information
We use the limited information We receive to:
- Provide, maintain and improve the Service
- Understand how visitors use the Service, through aggregated analytics
- Respond to Your messages and requests
- Keep the Service secure and prevent misuse
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell Your Personal Data, use it for advertising or send You marketing messages.
Retention
Calculator details
Kept only in Your browser until You choose “Start fresh” or clear Your browser’s site data. We never hold a copy.
Messages You send Us
Kept for as long as needed to respond and handle any follow-up, and no longer than 24 months.
Usage Data (server logs)
Kept by Our hosting provider for a limited period for security and troubleshooting, in line with its own retention schedule.
Google Analytics data
Kept in Google Analytics for the retention period set in Our account, no longer than 14 months; aggregated reports may be kept longer.
We may keep information longer only where the law requires it or to resolve a dispute.
Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where You live — including under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) — You may have the right to be informed about, access, correct, object to or request the deletion of Personal Data We hold about You.
- Calculator details: You control these directly on Your Device and can delete them at any time with “Start fresh”.
- Analytics: block or delete cookies in Your browser, or use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Messages and other data: contact Us and We will respond to Your request within a reasonable time.
International Transfers
Our hosting and other Service Providers may process information on servers located outside Your country, where data protection laws may differ. Where required by applicable law, We take reasonable steps to ensure Your information receives appropriate protection.
Security
The Website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and We keep the information We receive to a minimum. No method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, so We cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed to anyone under the age of 16, and We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from them.
If You are a parent or guardian and believe Your child has sent Us Personal Information, please contact Us and We will delete it.
